		Villa Cassel: Home of the Pro Natura Center Aletsch

Pro Natura Center Aletsch: at the edge of the UNESCO World Heritage site Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch!

The Pro Natura Center located in Villa Cassel in the canton of Valais is nestled in the fascinating mountain countryside in the protected area of the Aletsch forest and the Great Aletsch glacier, the gateway to the UNESCO World Heritage site Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch.

Wintertime: Exhibition only
After a very successful summer 2009 we closed the center and made the house safe for the wintertime. While all of us are busy preparing the next season down in the valley, the Villa Cassel is not in hibernation. You can visite the exhibition also in winter.

Opening hours in winter:
From december 22th, 2009 untill April 6th, 2010 each tuesday from 2pm till 4.30pm

Reopening in sommer 2010:
The Pro Natura Center will be reopened on june 12th, 2009 with a comprehensive new program of excursions, courses, exhibitions, etc.

		Romantic and unforgettable: Wintertime near the Great Aletsch glacier

Directions
Take the train to Mörel (changing at Brig or Göschenen). At Mörel you take the aerial cable car to Riederalp. From there you reach us by skis or by foot up on the Riederfurka.
