Pro Natura Centres

Pro Natura has two national and several regional nature conservation centres. In the centres and their neighbourhood, visitors can explore different habitats and have the opportunity to meet with nature in a very personal way.

Pro Natura Centre Aletsch

The centre in Riederalp in the canton of Valais has a lot to offer. It serves as your gateway to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch and is surrounded by a stunning mountain landscape. Located in the splendid Victorian «Villa Cassel», it boasts interactive exhibits, guided field trips and holidays far away from the hustle and bustle of your daily grind.

Courting black grouse, playing marmots, bellowing stags, ancient stone pines and crackling glacier ice beneath your feet – exploring the realm of the longest glacier of the Alps with the centre’s staff on one of the many guided tours will be memorable experience. How about spending your weekend or your holidays here? We offer you an exciting and varied programme throughout summer.

Pro Natura Centre Champ-Pittet

Located in the heart of the «Grande Cariçaie», the largest wetland area in Switzerland, the Pro Natura Centre Champ-Pittet near Yverdon-les-Bains offers exceptional access to this natural gem on the southern shores of Lake Neuchâtel. The nature reserve reminds the visitor of the Camargue; the holidays seem near.

Pro Natura looks forward to welcoming you, whether you come alone, with your family or as a group. We organise numerous events during the whole season and can also prepare a programme tailored to your needs. Our offers include information on the history and conservation of the «Grande Cariçaie» or the management and scientific monitoring of the lake’s southern shore, a tour through the Champ-Pittet gardens or a guided presentation of the current exhibits.
